Part 2: Family Homelessness: Impacting the Cycle with Lizzie and Ryan
What happens when an entire family is impacted by poverty, poor choices, abuse, or any number of unfortunate events that leave them so broke they can't pay for housing?
When families experience homelessness, resources are often limited, sometimes they can't stay together, and everyone is affected.
In this second episode with Lizzie and Ryan, the conversation focuses in on painting a picture of what families may experience when it comes to homelessness, what types of resources are available for families without housing (and what resources are lacking), and how this problem must be tackled through individuals with moral imaginations.
Lizzie is an ordained Baptist minister, dedicated to her family, and the Executive Director of United Ministries, located in Greenville South Carolina.
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”
1 Corinthians 2:9
